Can you introduce yourself?
My Name is Alex Tishler and I am the owner of VPN4All, a company incorporated in the Seychelles
I found that the VPNs that exist now are actually providing customer data to their governments because of the current Laws in the UK, USA and Europe.
Nothing. Our servers have hard drives that are so small they cannot cache or collect data. We use the minimum size servers to prevent accidental caching of data.
1. HMA recently had to give over to the UK government the data on an Anonymous hacker which put him in Jail. StrongVPN is really an ISP disguised as a VPN. Their main business is hosting as an ISP in the USA. Today the law in the USA is that any ISP and its servers must retain all the data of its customers for 7 years. How scary is that? Why would you want to keep your data on VPN services that have no legal protection and must turn over data to their governments or management goes to jail. No management of any VPN will risk jail.
So how are we different? As a Seychelles off shore company we are subject to Seychelles law which has no laws about internet data or server retention. No court order from any country in the world is recognized in the Seychelles. Any customer that uses our VPN does not have to worry that a court order will be served to force us to give over any data. And we don’t have to keep any data on our servers so we don’t. In the USA, UK and Europe, VPNs have become ISPs retaining data and providing it to their governments under general requests. Even if a VPN service states differently in its terms of service, the fact is VPN services have no choice if their jurisdiction is in Europe, the UK or the USA.
2. Technically we provide point to point security as well as VPN network security. This means that any data that travels between our service as well as your data is protected. Currently all the other VPNS only provide a tunnel for data related to the customer’s data stream, and not the data that confirms the subscribers authenticity to the server network. Because of that any simple VPN’s subscribers can be back traced to the VPN server and then hacked.
3. We are the only service that allows the user to change his IP on the fly without breaking the VPN Tunnel. Technically no other service can do that. For example if HMA or others change IP, the tunnel is broken and the user is vulnerable to the open internet for the time it takes to create a new tunnel.
The change IP function is liked very much by many of our customers as well as the fact we are off shore. The large number of physical locations worldwide and speed of the servers is also a benefit.
Our new GUI will be launched next month with new features and we will add IPSEC to OpenVPN and P2P. IPSEC has certain advantages and disadvantages and will be used by the majority of VPN users that are not behind a firewall. Its much faster and uses a smaller footprint than OpenVPN and is used by most corporate enterprises.
